Any Pistol powder found?

A while back I was more or less forced to buy Promo for my pistols or just stop shooting. I bought an 8 lb container and, at the rate I've been using it, it should last me forever. I'M OLD!

2 years ago, I was in the same situation; no pistol powder to be found anywhere!

I bought a 1 lb. container of Red Dot and gave it a try. It worked well enough and I found another LGS that had 3-4 lb. jugs in stock. I bought one of them; wish I could've bought all 3!

Even though I am in pretty good shape now with pistol powders, I will always keep Red Dot on hand; you never know what will happen next!

I bought a lb of Unique and one of 3N37 yesterday in Texarkana. Had no 2400 or Power Pistol but did have HS6 & 7, 4227, 231 and others I can't remember. Like the man says, it's hard to help without knowing your location........

Well this afternoon I bought 2 lbs of HP-38 2 cans of Clays 2 lbs of Unique..2 lbs of 296 2 lbs of RL7 and a pound of the discontinued 4756.. Like that one for certain loads Prices were 21 for HP 38... 19 for the Clays(14 ounce)..20 for the Unique..22 for the 296(they had H-110 for 21) the RL 7 was expensive at 26 and the 4756 was 18. So prices are sometimes in the right realm. Cabelas had RL-7 for 33. I use the RL 7 in 45-70 and 444

Would that be Tanners? I got 8# of unique "my all time favorite" last week for $170 at the oaks show. By the way I think we might be neighbors I'm in the pines.
Hi Jim Mays Landing here I got my supply at Delco shooting
Supplies in Prospect park PA fair prices good supply knowledgeable
People too

I don't know what the deal is for these online sellers, But, I do find powder at the local shops without much of a problem.

I live in a remote area, so all my powder sales are done on line. Someone on this site is always good about posting suppliers with available powder. You need to look every day if your in need and buy enough to make the $20. hazmat fee worth while. If one makes the effort, you'll find some.

As I have been unable to get my regular powders (Universal, 2400 etc.)
I got what was available both online and at Recob's which I can easily drive to.
So I ended up with good quantities of CSB-1 (Universal/Unique replacement), N105 (slightly faster than 2400),
and IMR 4227 which is my go to powder anyway for the 445.
Also got enough H4198 to keep me shooting the big 444 for awhile.
Being as reloading is one of my main hobbies, I enjoy a little change from time to time.
It's easy to keep shooting if you are adaptable and a little patient.

Recobs has had trail boss for two days now, both the 9 oz and 5 lb sizes...

Never seem to find any locally,
