The hy hunter derringer in 357 works for me best with 38 spl wad cutters, less recoil. Best accuracy is up close. Sometimes the star wheel will not set the two hammers giving a single shot, fixing it is easy. Remove the grips and adjust it to reset the star wheel, more or less tension. Mine needed heat treatment. Making another spring is another option.
The High Standard derringer only came in 22 RF and is a good one. Neither one is safe to carry loaded.
