Just acquired my own model & looking for tips on tinkering etc to increase my performance with the little beast at the range.

I put the Tandemkross trigger in mine which gave me an improved trigger pull and I will eventually buy the Tandemkross "thunder hammer" to make it even better. Having said that, the stock trigger wasn't all that bad, I just like to tinker.

I shoot bullseye with a PC Victory. Its fun. Also use a 617 and do well with it.
The SW22 does have favorite ammo brands.

I'm at that awkward age.....too slow for speed steel & too geezered up to see the target let alone the X-bullseye....

still, I have 617s that I really like but find I can eke out faster times with semiauto. Was hoping the fine sight on this SW22 would be adequate but have to try out a little red dot just to see what it might add.

I've ordered additional magazines, and adjusted the trigger take up and over travel down to as close as I can manage. The sheer modularity of the design was a big plus for me.

Came with a Tandemkross compensator & beehive grips. The old boy said he put 200 rounds thru it & didn't like it. At 30' it was grouping about 4 inches low, so I don't know where he had it sighted.

Have tried a few brands of ammo, too new to me to tell what it prefers.

I have added a few more mags, Tandenkross Hive grips, Halo charging handle, extended mag release and larger safety. I use it for bullseye and plates. Eats anything. I have about 700 rounds thru it.

I have two for Steel Challenge. Iron sights for me and a Leupold Delta Point for my wife. Great guns that run any ammo I put in them. Both are very accurate and reliable with Mini-Mags. TandemKross accessories on both include compensators, triggers and Halos. My also wears the Bee Hive grips. I didn't think a comp would do much on a .22 but I was surprised.

S & W Victory

I have one and I love it. I did buy a few (6) spare magazines and a small plastic mag loader. I bought the one with the threaded bbl, and can put my silencer on it. I also put a red dot sight on it. Fun gun to shoot.

I have two of these pistols and shoot them regularly in steel matches. One is all customized with Volquartsen carbon fiber barrel and red dot sight, HALO addition to the bolt. The other is absolutely box stock. Neither has had or needs a trigger job. I have TandemKross trigger parts but never put them in. The guy who runs our Wednesday night steel matches borrowed my stock Victory last match to try it out and will buy one for himself.

I shoot Bullseye with mine, as well as indoor 3-gun. Haven't found any ammo that it didn't like. Only mod I did was put a red dot on it... factory sights would be adequate for younger eyes, but not for mine.

I appreciate this post as I just purchased the SW22 PC. I went a bit crazy on a first purchase but it felt so good in my hand and it looks amazing to me.
