Well......I have to admit that I own two :o

The Colt is one that my dad found for me. My mother's father carried one like it in 32 Cal that he confiscated as evidence in a murder (it got ~lost, so I had to make do with what I could find). The second is an Armi Galesi that was my great grandfather's bench gun (he was a judge and carried it concealed in a leather glove), my dad relegated it to me as custodian. He never could get it to run quite right, but with some cleaning, tweaking on springs and mag lips, all is well now. I ran about 50 rounds through it to prove that it did actually work quite well. I have not ever carried it, but I just might one day (with my big hat, feather boa, and fancy walking stick).

I'm not one to chase after nickel finish with pearl stocks, but these have meaning to me.

Anyone else have a pimp gun?

I think I have the "Mother" of All Pimp Guns. Check this one out. Astra Model 400 with a case colored frame and an engine turned trigger and barrel. The screws and some of the other fittings have been gold plated. Why someone would spend that kind of money on something like this is beyond me.

Do I own a pimp gun???!!! You bet your bobsled I do! Heck! Doesn't everybody?

It belonged to my dad's Uncle Vern, a somewhat unscrupulous attorney who got disbarred for trying to bribe a jury back in the 1930's. He was also known to frequent the local brothels.

He gave this little .25 acp to Dad back in the early 1940's with this admonition, "Don't ever shoot anybody with it. You're liable to make 'em awful mad." I guess he was a real character, from what I hear.

I wouldn't be a bit surprised if this little pistol once resided in the bustier of some cat house madam. :D

This isn't mine, but came up in an auction a couple of years ago...

This one IS mine, and I de-pimped it very slightly by removing the black (fake) MOP grips and replacing with walnut.

Why would anyone remove those grips. That's flirting with disaster. The Pimp ANti-Defamation Association (PANDA) will be contacting you soon for defacing that pimp-alicious gun.
