I have her album. Her voice was hauntingly beautiful. She was born as Edith Zuser in Austria and died June 30, 2010. She will be missed.

Wow - The very nice lady across the street is named Oleta too. I'd never heard that name before....
Her eldest daughter is Joleta. Another that I've never heard before.

I have only ran into that name I think three other times. In california there is a oleta road out of jousha tree. I have been tempted to steal that sign every time I drove by it. My mom died in 1993 but here is my folks on their wedding day.
