Anybody Talk to Frank Smith Lately?

Hello all,

Has anyone here had any recent contact with Frank Smith of LSG Manufacturing in Comanche, Texas? As many know, he was a warranty repair station for S&W for many years before they closed all of them. From speaking with him on the phone, he also is an incredibly knowledgeable and very nice guy.

I'm asking because I had talked to him about sending an older revolver to him for repair, and I know he had had some health problems at that time. I was about to send the gun and decided to give him a call first to let him know it was coming, but nobody has answered his phone or responded to emails in more than a week.

Does anyone here have any information about Frank? I hope it is as simple as him changing his number, or merely that he has retired, but I fear it may be something worse. Thanks.

Haven't talked to Frank in several years, back when he was doing warranty work for S&W. Very nice man and a top notch gunsmith, I hope all is well down there also. I tried to find his phone number but I guess it got misplaced at some time. Sorry I couldn't help.

Hi All,

Frank Smith called me just a few minutes ago, oddly enough by accident while trying to reach another customer. He has been having some telephone system problems but he is okay and still working as much as he can.
