A friend who owned a gunshop, a few years ago , sold me a large bottle telling me how great a product it was. I must admit I've never used it but once. I put some on a patch to clean a shotgun barrel with and didn't like the odor at all ( it STINKS ) . I swabbed the barrel and put the gun away hoping the smell would dissipate...it did. Now, with the price of everything rising , I got to thinking I shouldn't be wasteful, and find a use for it. So whats it good for? The bottle says it's good for gun cleaning, barrels, fouling etc. ,wood and leather, but I don't know if I want it soaking into anything porous. Any feedback on clenzoil is appreciated.
