Do you know if assault guns are banned in CT? I just read this artical in the Paper AK-47 seized from Shelton man's home following domestic dispute - WFSB 3 Connecticut first time 've heard there already been banned here.
Anyone else from CT?

Don't know, but in a domestic violence dispute whatever firearms are present will be removed (Maybe this is different State to State), in this case it just happened he owned an AK.

Yes some rifles were banned in Ct. back when the federal ban went into effect. They were specificly named and you had to register them or sell them out of state. The ones dealers have been selling are post-ban that have had a few changes to be sold in Ct. such as no flash hider or bayonet lug. So no preban AR's, AK's in 7.62X39, Thomsons and many others.
