Anyone Ever See Presentation Grips Like These?

They are called smooth presentation grips. I have them on my 5"s 27-2 and 29-2. On the 27 I sent the gun back to smith right after I bought it new and my name engraved on it with all the options in nthe early 1970s. Then I bought the other pair later from jack first when he was a smith dealer. Also have a 544 texas wagon trail commemorative with them.

At least one of my book-matched stocks came from a forum member who resides in MA, so likely from the "bucketsfull bonanza":

VM, who would have thought that when we were talking about pretty butts it would be Symmetry + Goncalo Alves = Pretty Butts ....must be getting old.
 
They don't appear to be rosewood, to me, and I've had several pairs over the years. Those appear to be colored like all the Goncalo Alves that I've seen.
