They were sold starting maybe 10 years ago, and don't know when they went out of production.

How does it shoot?

It would be an interesting kit gun to have to go with my 3".

That's the 60-18, got one. Shoots great. They have the 2 piece barrel and IL. I'd like to have a 3" to go with that and my 60 no dash.

Hey, Cal44. I've got a 60-18 too. It shoots great.
I don't think I ever posted pics, so here it is.

I should take newer pics. It's not sporting the rubber now.

I carried my 5 inch this year while deer hunting this season. Easy to Carry and fun to shoot!

I would like a matching model 63.....was that ever offered?

Yes they do have 5" 63's I have two and a 3" one also..One that is practically brand new and doesn't get shot. The other is a shooter and was sent back and had some sort of target front and rear sights. I killed quite a few squirrels with mine this past deer season. I would get rid on my 617 before my 63's, if that tells you anything.

Any meat left on the squirrels after a hit from a .38 ?

Yes it was and I'm happy to own one of them. Also have a Model 34 4" kit gun, the 5" Model 63 and a 6" Model 17. It's fun to stage a little shooting match . . . 4" vs 5" vs 6". I have done this a few times and results are always as expected. The 6" shoots the tightest groups, followed closely by the 5" with the 4" kit gun shooting slightly larger groups. They all are capable of 'minute of squirrel' accuracy but the 6" revolver with the larger, heavier K frame is the most accurate.

Fun to shoot these .22 LR revolvers! :)

I bought a 60 5inch about a month ago. It's a fun gun. Mine has original panel style grips. They are small for me but still fun.

I picked up a 60-18 a few months ago for $400. Seemed reasonable compared to what I see on Gunbroker and Armslist. Very accurate shooter. Handles .38 special easy and surprisingly not too bad with .357. Anyone know if this gun came with it's own manual, specific to the 5" barrel?
