Gemini sure does purdy work ... would love to hear from someone who invested in one of the company's wheel gun packages.

Some years back I had a hankering for an SP101. They were selling for about 450 here in Cali at the time. I happened to look at the Gemini site and saw that the base gun for his packages was 400. So I figured with the tax savings and 50 savings on the gun it was like getting 90 bucks off his base custom package. I also added the fiber optic sight to it for another 30 bucks. All in all it was well worth it. For a couple hundred bucks over the cost of the gun I got a nice action job, melding, bead blast, polished trigger and chamfering. I'm pretty happy with the way it came out.

Thanks Sip. Looking at Gemini prices, some of the work is pretty steep, but I guess it's relative. I've seen guys drop big money on stock 1911 race guns without a second thought, so investing in a customized revolver package isn't any different. I'm most intrigued by the 296 package ... it looks impressive, but between gun and work, it brings the cost in at roughly $2K which is more than my gun budget permits. Some of the lesser packages seem affordable though, so maybe that's the route I go in the future.

Yes. But I purchased it this way.(cheap) It is not ported(glad of that) It does have a disabled lock. I would not pay the money to have it done. I can do as good (almost) a trigger job myself. The rest is "bling" to me.
