What do you think of it?
I saw one at a gunshow for $1200. Is that a good price?
Never see any PC stuff around anymore, and have been wanting a 44mag.

I think there may be more than one? Is this the one you are talking about? If so, the one I have is a very nice revolver -- MSRP is $1.319. You can check gunbroker to see they have been selling for. Just remember to add shipping, cc fees (if appropriate) and FFL transfer fees on your end to get a comparable price.

FWIW,

Yep, that is it.
I think the price of $1200 was out the door, but not sure.

I had one, it's a great gun with a smooth action, very accurate. I just traded it for my 686PC snub though, not becuase I didn't like it but just to free up some room in the safe and I have a couple of other 44mags that I like a little bit more.

I've got the"light hunter"

And the "magnum hunter"
Both of these have great actions, but the light hunter is out of this world smooth. It is so nice, that I haven't even shot the two tone gun yet. Its very accurate with both a cast bullet mid range load and full power jacketed loads. Sub 1 1/2" iron sighted groups at 25 yds are repeatable. I'm very happy with it, your going to enjoy it if you get one.

I have the PC Stealth Hunter, also 7 1/2" barrel. It's the finest firearm I have ever owned. We did go over the trigger per all the stuff in the Jerry Miculek video, but after that, it's about 2 1/2 lbs SA and about 8lbs DA. Really a terrific gun!
