I sent in an order in Oct, for my 4th holster from Bob Mika. Hadn't heard anything since then, though with holidays and work I'm sure he was busy, and sent an e-mail about 4 days ago. No response so far. Anyone get a holster lately, or a response? I hope he's OK.

I've been away from the Forum for a few months and...wow...the whole world changes!
I ordered another Mika holster in October and no joy. No response to an email I sent a few weeks back either.
He did call when I ordered it to let me know he was waaay backed up.

I called him, about 1 1/2 weeks ago, because I was concerned that my holster ordered on Oct. 8th might be lost in the mail. He did call me back and said there had been a death in the family and that my order would go out in a few days. But, I still haven't seen or heard anything. I did follow up with an email a few days after talking to him...no reply. I hope everything is ok. He may be just backed up but I'm getting a funny feeling.

He will come through...he's always swamped with orders.It took 4 months for mine to show up. He's the local Police Chief in a small town up in Wisconsin.Winters are a pain up there.He needs to stop taking orders,and catch up!
I think he sometimes gets behind in his orders, but he is definitely a stand-up guy. I haven't dealt with him in years, but I feel comfortable saying that people of his character don't change. He'll take care of things.

I'm not worried about a 25 dollar holster, just wondering if he's OK.

Ditto on that, Ladder. A few bucks don't mean anything. Sure would be nice to hear he's ok.

I placed a order on January 5th and he called about 30 minutes after my order was placed. All seemed normal and he did say he was backlogged.

Received a confirm from UPS that the holster was on the way. Almost 4 months. Good to see he's OK.

I got my holster a week or two ago. He sent a square cut by mistake. I called and he made a new round cut and mailed it out that very same day. He sent the correct one for free and told me to keep the other one. Nice guy, nice holster. It's worth the wait.

It's funny how a 15.00 holster can be worth a 4 month wait, after I ordered my first one (round cut), I called about 2 months later and ordered a squared cut one. When I ordered my second one it did take about 2 months to get it but I wasn't worried. Being an LEO he and I have talked many times (about 45 minutes) just about cop stuff from him calling me after I placed an order. He is definitely a stand up guy and because of that I try to recommend his product whenever possible.

I just received an order placed in December - round cut for my 642 and a pouch to carry a speed strip. Excellent material and workmanship.
My son recieved his holster last week. Robert said he has had a death in the family.
His lead times will probably increase to some degree now. He was just profiled by Sammy Reese in the March/April edition of American Handgunner.

Since all speak so highly of him and his product, how can I see his products? I used to by S.D. Myers holsters years ago, I like the quality of such masters.
