Anyone here have a RCMP marked revolver?

Don't have one. Did see some at the old Jackson Arms in Dallas, now closed. (This is NOT the present Jackson Armory, although the stores are similar, and have a similar location.)

One was a Colt New Service with the old RNWMP
markings.

I'm not sure if they ever released any of the S&W or Colt .38's they used and certainly no S&W 9mm's. I think those are destroyed when withdrawn from service.

A member or two of the Force is a member here, and they posted to that effect about a year ago.

Do our Canadian members know when the last guns were sold to the public?

Good question...

P.S. Beware of dealer claims that some three-inch .357 Rugers are RCMP gus. Those GP-100's may have been used by SOME Canadian agency, but there seems to be no credible evidence that it was the RCMP.

I think I saw that same gun last night! I tucked the wife in early, she 8 months pregnant right now and going to bed very early these days, and I spent a bunch of time perusing the auctions and buyers sites last night. It's a nice looking revolver! You should give it a new home.

I was looking at a Triple Lock.45 Colt today that had British proof marks and some marks that the dealer said was from the RCMP.
It had about a 61/2 bbl.

Missed this one the first go-round.

I have a Colt New Service that was sent to the Comptroller of the Royal Northwest Mounted Police in 1919, along with a shipment of 500. It's factory chambered in 45 Colt. A year or two later the RNWMP became the Royal Canadian Mounted Police. East meets West.

The revolver has MP stamped on the bottom of the grip frame, which was their marking for Mounted Police.

I have a picture that I took with my M27 no dash. This picture is with the hard rubber stocks removed and a set of birdseye maple targets I'd put on that day as I had both revolvers at the range.

Bob Adams in New Mexico has (and has had for a long while) a RCMP marked S & W 17 - 3. His web site is adamsguns.com.

My hand ejector .455 has MP stamps and has wear that seems to coincide with the type of holster they used, pictured above. Trying to find out how to verify it...

This is back strap of a Colt New Service shipped 1940, caliber is 45 Colt.
I will check but as I remember bottom of butt marked M P on either side of lanyard loop.
