anyone here load 380 acp

I use 3.2 Gr of w/231 with 90 Gr hp/xtp, OAL .965, case .675.
This feeds and extracts great in my Ruger LCP. When i carry this .380 i use either Hornday or Winchester defense ammo.

Coldmold,

I have a Bersa Thunder .380 that I reload for and the best all-around target bullet that I have found is the 95g FMJ Mag-Tech.

Magtech Bullets 380 ACP (355 Diameter) 95 Grain Full Metal Jacket

I have used this bullet with;
Bullseye, 231, H. Universal, Accurate #5, Win. AutoComp, Power Pistol.

I have used the cheap bullets and some very expensive ones as well - the MagTech's are the best bang for the buck!

When I first got my BG380, there was a major and long standing shortage of 380 ACP in my area. I immediately purchased 500 pcs of once fired brass, 500 95 gr (Missouri) bullets and a set of (Lee) dies. I ended up using Clays and unique and developed some very decent loads. Given the price of factory 380 ammo, it paid for itself within 400 rounds.

Best powder I've tested with the .380 in a Bersa Thunder and a Colt Gov't .380 has been Accurate #2. Other slower powders always gave me erratic velocities while AA#2 was consistent and Accurate Arms data matched my results. Most loads has been using Hornady 90gr. XTP's.

I have been using 2.8 of W231 over top a magtech 95g jhp in my Wathler PK380, Been building the rounds on my lee pro1000. It's a good load for what I use it for. Mostly the wife and daughter for targets, but it does well against things like rapid foxes

I started reloading .380 in that year. Using 115gr. JHP bullets. And Beye powder. And worked Loads from that. And Load them today using Beye powder and Hornaday 115gr. XTP bullets. Always WORK UP YOUR LOADS.

SAFE SHOOTING ALWAYS

MR835 IS GONE.
