Anyone here use Netflix?

We've used it for about 3-4 years. We're on the 3 DVD at a time program and it has worked out well for us. We typically have two cartoons and one movie for the bride and I. We don't have cable, satellite or any broadcast channels where we live, so DVDs are it when it comes to watching TV.

I've used it for a couple of years, and love it. I get three at a time, and can easily watch 12 movies a month for seventeen bucks. The selection is great, and they've got Blu-Ray now, too.

We're on the 3 DVD plan too. We don't have cable or satellite, but I wanted my daughters to be able to see the stuff like Animal Planet, History Channel, etc. Netflix has those.

We are on the 2 per week plan. Mostly use it to watch hbo series stuff like the wire, rome, sopranos, deadwood etc.

I have some extra pc's around here that I'd like to hook up to the various tv sets so I can watch the instant movies available through netflix.

We like it pretty well. We're on the one-CD-at-a-time plan, about $9.60/month with tax. Only problem has been a number of dirty or scratched CDs which didn't play well, but after requesting a replacement once this seemed to stop. Maybe they check complainers' disks before mailing them out.

The cost per CD depends, of course, on how quickly you watch them and send them back. Several times I've had a movie show up that I sort of wanted to watch but couldn't get in the mood to see for a couple of weeks. This amounts to a kind of self-imposed late fee.

One other complaint: If you're a Mac user, you can't watch the instant movies NetFlix offers.

Hey, Sip. It's a pretty good deal. My wife and I would have a hard time getting to Blockbuster and we were always saying we should watch such and such. We have the cheapest plan which is two a month. This is plenty. Right now the 3rd installment of Johnny Depp and Pirates of the C has been sitting on the TV stand for about 3 weeks waiting for us to watch it. Plus they get mailed out of and back to Worcester, MA which is only about 30 miles away. Never had one take more than 24 hours to get here or there. All in all - it's well worth the $$$

Just when I thought I was out they pull me back in.

My notebook is almost dead I can only use it for 5 or 10 minutes before it dies and I have to turn it off and reboot. So I have been lurking with my cell phone. I can read everything but I can't post messages with the cell phone, so I had to log on just to type this.

N/F is great, I will still be able to watch on line with the mac. N/F sell a gadget that costs a little over $100 that lets you watch on line without the Computer. Right now they have over 12,000 movies on line that are included in your membership. That alone is worth the monthly fee

We (actually it is my wife's) do - don't recall any problems in the several years we have had it.

Have had netflix for years. Netflix is the main reason we don't watch much TV, which is a very good thing. somehow, our queue keeps growing. At 275 movies last count...

We used it for three years, and then moved, and we just haven't gotten around to setting up a new account. Great stuff, stuff you won't find at Blockbuster, like English movies and television series. You may have to wait a while before you get current stuff in heavy demand, but Netflix is a good deal, and they deliver promptly. I have no idea how they can do that, but they do. Usually next day service.

We have not had cable TV for some years and have relied on movie rentals when we wished to watch the tube. Our son has a X-box and it turns out you can get Netflix movies from your computer through the X-box to the TV. Damn, about $10.00 a month for a wide selection of movies and you don't even need to worry about taking them back!
