Anyone in the Phoenix area have small-pistol primers...

...they'd be willing to trade for CCI 400 small- or Winchester WLR large-rifle primers or Winchester WLP large-pistol primers?

I'm happy to give you double the number of any mix of these three for any American-brand SP primers.. Five-hundred would make me happy and a thousand would make me VERY happy.

I understand that rifle primers have thicker cups--to withstand higher pressures--than pistol primers, hence requiring more force to ignite than a pistol may have.

If you are set up with a light hammer spring you may encounter a light strike.

I use SRP without a second thought in all calibers using small primers. Every round goes bang all guns.

No light hammer/striker springs...both stock S&W M&P 40s.

Loaded 4 cases with the SR primers; the two pistols went 'bang' 4 times. :D
