The one my Boy Scout Master had in the early 70's had:

6" barrel
Target grips
.22 Cylinder inserts
Hardwood presentation case


I forgot what sights though! But I belief they were like a K-22
(plain Patridge front, black rear).

I'm plenty "bid savvy," I've won every bid I've placed on internet auctions, with the sole exception being ebay thanks. But no human can compete with an automated program. Including you.
I don't think you understand how Ebay works, or doesn't work, when you're bidding against a machine...

I have won several auctions on Ebay by putting in a high max bid. This is the machine You talk about. I put in My max bid and if I loose, so be it.
As far as the Model 53 grips fitting Your K frame there shouldn't be a problem. I bought some diamond targets on Ebay and they fit perfect.

I'm sure that now, eight years later, that guy has given up on ebay. Seeing that it's so unfair and all. For what it's worth, almost anything of any interest on ebay gets bids in the last 10 seconds. Adapt or buy elsewhere.
