Anyone Ride?

Hi fellow riders,

Here is my Road King Custom, my wifes Sabre 1100 and my toyhauler.

Yes, I drive a trailer to bikeweek but it is nice to have all my stuff when we get there.

Wow, what a great mix of different great motorcycles posted on this thread, and I like them all!

Here's a picture of me taken in 1975, on my 1973 Moto Guzzi V7 sport.

Currently I have a few motorcycles here's one; it's not an action shot but parked in my garage. 2007 BMW K1200GT.

After riding street bikes and sport touring bikes I have decided I like dual sport/enduros best. My KLR by far meets my riding style better than any other.
It takes me to places far off the beaten path.

RideWV,

That BMW 1200 is a thing of beauty. I still have a weak spot for sport touring bikes, and that is a work of art.

Funny you should bring this up.

Just yesterday I lucked into my first bike, a hand-me-down from my FIL.

I'll take a few shots tomorrow and post them here.

1985 Yamaha VX 700 NC Virago.

33K miles and my BIL had it in his posession for the last two years left it out in the salt air and dropped it on the right side.

I'm bringing it into the shop in the next few days to get all seals and gaskets, fluids and broken parts replaced.

Then I'm going to break the grime off it and polish it up.

Great first bike!

You bettcha! For the last few years this has been my ride. 2004 H-D Road King Custom with 95" big bore kit, V&H Ovals, Sundowner seat, passing lamps, and a few other functional tweaks. This bike is a dream to ride! Shown here at Windy Ridge, looking south-west toward what once was the north slope of Mt. St. Helens.

Thanks T. You see what's parked behind it don't you? :-) I'm with you, there's nothing more fun than a big bore dual sport, like a KLR, because there's so much you can do with them.

For two up touring my wife and I ride my 2007 Harley Ultra Classic. When I'm wanting to do some riding on my own I hop on my 2008 Suzuki DL650 VStrom.

Here's an older shot of my '72 Norton Commando, it's changed slightly since then, kind of an ever evolving entity over the past 24 years.

Me and my chosen steed (08 Buell Ulysses)

I am glad that both HD and Eric Buell are driving the vision of a distinctly American sportbike. The aesthetic of the 'old school' rumbling torque-monster v-twin combined with the high tech design and engineering is pleasing. Like a ferrari mated with a detroit muscle car.

I can't wait to try out the rotax offerings some day, but I hope Buell always produces twins, or at least bikes with the same quirky character.

Damn...another picture thread

. Yeah I ride on occasion. Here is a shot of my 2 wheeler. I'm a fan of the older retro bikes. There are some nice ones here.

I have to say as much as I like riding this bike it's way more fun riding in the dirt!!
