My local Walmart has ZQ1 for `$.50 a round. I am looking for a reliability report with the M&P 10.

I have not but I have been told it's Turkish ammo made to NATO specifications. Beyond that, I don't know much.

I shot 60 rounds of ZQ1 out of my MP10 a couple weeks ago with no issues. I have been stocking up on this ammo ever since it hit .50c per.

Ive shot about 80 rounds through my m&p10. It functions fine but groups are not real tight. I would say a 2 inch group at 50 yards with a few fliers. Xm80 shoots About a 1 inch group at 50 yards.

Its ok for range plinking ammo. I have about 400 rounds left So I'll use it for shooting fun. I've got some pmc, federal, and outback ammo coming and I'll test those this week. Fyi, federal gold metal match is 1 moa.

It's nothing to write home about and "so-so" ammo for plinking out to 50-100 yards. A bit on the dirty side and the brass isn't the best for reloading. They all fired but don't always hit where you aim. But it is cheap shooting.

Fired 40 more rounds of ZQI today. Definately only a 4 inch group ammo at 100 yds. in my m&p10. Xm80 is 2 inch groups all day. Now Sierra gameking 165 is 1/2 MOA. Better than FGMM 168 in mine. I was really impressed with the gameking round.

Thanks for the feedback. I might grab 100 or so for plinking. I'm not really a paper-puncher.

Reload them suckers, and get your cost down to about $.28 cents a round, that's not counting the hundreds you spend on equipment. You wont save any money but you sure will shoot a lot more.

Everytime I calculate it up to consider reloading the cost savings isn't there for me yet. I find what i like to shoot and then buy in mass bulk when its on sale. I do save my brass though and i can see the day i have 4000 .308 brass and then buying what i need to reload. One thing i will do though is next time there is an ammo rush I'll be stocking up in components to reload. Just got into .308 last year so im still accumulating brass.

Reloading is really only cheap enough if you already have the brass to reload. Even with once fired brass purchased, the cost per round soesnt seem economical enough unless you are doing precision loads.

I have a bunch of the zqi and I shoot it ok. I haven't tried to group it but it's combat accurate. I did have good luck doing "Mexican match" ammo by simply swapping the bullets for a 150 nbt. I also noticed there is a decent variance in charges in stock form so that is probably where some of the accuracy issues are coming from. Didn't go as far as weighing bullets though...
