Anyone try the KSDgrips??

wondering what the "feel" is on the Beretta and 4506 models, i have short fingers and don't want to spend money and time to find that they are too bulky.

IMO, the only way to avoid that is to try-before-you-buy and this doesn't seem like the kind of product for which that's often an option. Grips are like holsters - expect to end up with at least one drawer full of discards....

With those measurements. We are more than fine. Thanks BAM-BAM.

I know you're just ramping up production and I've asked before, but do you have any plans to make grips for the 391x series of 9mm compacts?

They are pretty popular, especially on this forum, and I think you'd see some demand.

No problem..... the 4566 grips make sense wood vs Hogue Rubber.......

the 5906 grips......wood thinner than factory ????.....one of us has to be off......

I'm 99% sure the 5906 and 6906 frames are the same.....you can use a 5906 mag in a 6906.........won't be able to double check my number until tomorrow.......

The 6996 trip is shorter. A 5906 mag will fit and work fine, but will stick out the bottom of mag well.

5906 grips are attached to wood blocks. Those wood blocks are 25mm wide.So I add another 7mm.3.5 mm each side.Total is 32mm.if 5906 s frame is 26mm wide than We should add another mm.I don't have 5906 with me right now.

Got it. I just didn't realize that you were talking about thickness and not overall size. I think you're right.

We/I am looking at overall thickness..... of the grips/guns..........I grabbed the 6906 cus it was handy....... I think the grip frames and factory grips are the same thickness.....

Thanks. I can't wait to see what they look like.
I suspect that the CS9 grips will be very, very, popular as well.

thank-you..............am I the only one that doesnt't know what the "orthopedic one" means?? as it relates to a grip design

Factory 6906 (compact 5906) grips are 32.75mm thick.

Pulled a 915........ grips and gun are 32.5 to 32.7mm thick (2" & 3" from the bottom)

.......grips are 3.25mm thick (bottom edge)

.........frame is 25.27 thick at (bottom edge)

There is 1mm in there.........guessing that the grips must be .5mm thicker towards the middle

These are absolutely gorgeous stocks, no two ways about it.

In looking at -all- the different guns represented... I can't possibly see any way that the logos and emblems are licensed. I'll be the first to admit that I have no idea how such copyright restrictions are applied and enforced but if I were a betting man, I would say to "get 'em while you can" because some of these companies are well known for spending their time & energy protecting their properties. S&W, for one, chases down websites that host .pdf versions of their factory owner's manuals.

Now this could be because S&W wishes to ENSURE that any/every end user always has THE most up to date version... or it could be that they take their rights seriously and pursue those rights to great lengths.
