I have been thinking about buying a shoulder holster for my Shield and so therefore would like to ask you good folks if you use a shoulder holster what have you found that is a good fit and comfortable to wear.

I currently carry IWB but on occasion dress beach bum style and wear tee shirt and shorts, so I am either going to have to buy a shoulder holster or wear suspenders with my shorts, not a look I care to sport...lol

I got a galco Miami classic lite for the shield and have tried ccing it. It does print somewhat awkwardly under a medium-thick button down collared shirt but as long as you keep your arms to your sides, refrain from crossing your arms or bending over, it can be made less obvious by not tucking in your non-fitted shirt. It can be comfortable when relatively loose, but kind of pinches if you tighten it so it puts the gun and mag pouch higher up near your armpits. I plan on using it under puffy coats.

I carry my Shield IWB with cargo shorts and a t shirt all the time. A good quality leather gun belt makes all the difference in the world and will keep your shorts around your waist instead of your ankles. I also carry it while wearing basketball type shorts during the summer when walking the dogs in the morning. Just sinch up the drawstring good and snug and
It's no problem going on a brisk 3 mile walk. The IWB holster I use is a N82 Tactical Pro model.

Years ago I bought a cordura nylon shoulder holster for a Ruger P91 and it worked great for carrying a full size gun while working on my hunting lease but it was more like open carry. It kept the gun out of the way much better than an OWB holster while working and was very comfortable but I can't imagine carrying one that way under a t shirt to be concealed even if it was as small as a Shield.
