Anyone use or familiar with Aker 107 shoulder rig?

Looking @ this, model #107 made up for my 6906. Found one (new) for $50 online.

Thinking it might work for the 5906 as well. The frame is the same size as the 6906 w/1/2" longer slide & handle. Any words of wisdom? Aker quality worth owning?

I've got several Aker items, including holsters. Don't have one of their shoulder rigs, but everything I have from them is top quality. I have a paddle holster from Aker that is my daily carry holster.

Found some items on Ebay, the shoulder rig being one of them. Googled for on-line reviews of the 107 model, non found. Did find reviews of 101 & 102 models w/mixed opinions. Decided to give it a try. Should get them next week.

They sell these rigs at the LAPD academy....I looked at them up close and they are good quality rigs...for 50 bucks you can't go wrong.
