APEX ARMORERS BLOCK leave marks?

Guys, I have just bought the Apex Armorers Block and it does seem to leave small marks like wear marks. Has anybody notice this?

I have not, but have only used it a couple times on a couple different handguns. But now I am going to go and double check...

it's not that big of a deal. If nobody pointed it out I would have never seen it. Just see some shiny spots

Could it be the plastic from the block? I've only used mine a few times, but most marks normally rub off.

If they're plastic marks, most solvents should take it right off.

Nope, never noticed anything - although I will be checking the next time I use it

If you're concerned you can always put some electrical tape on the contact points, either on the handgun or on the block.

The melonite finish on the M&P gets a bit dull after a while. I think the dullness is from muzzle blast, dust in the atmosphere, or whatever. Anything that touches the pistol will "polish" that point. Every once in a while I wipe down the exterior of the slide with a silicon impregnated cloth (MidwayUSA Silicone Impregnated Gun Cleaning Cloth) It does a great job on all the metal surfaces, just don't use it on the grip or any part you don't want slippery.
