Apex Trigger?

Just received my MP9 Pro and really like the trigger just the way it came from the factory - some take up then bang it goes off. To me almost like a 2 stage trigger - has a trigger weight of 5.0 pounds. Right now my plans are to leave it right where its at. I have a Glock 26 and 17 and prefer the Pro trigger over both these.

M&P's are super easy to do trigger jobs on . Thd main advantage to an apex is you can go back to stock if needed. I have a pdf thar illustrates the entire trigger job process. If you message me your email I will email it to you. It's like 50 pages illustrated explains everything. I didn't make the pdf but I've used it.

I put an Apex sear in my pistol. Big difference in break and reset. It's hardened steel and you can really feel it through the trigger. It dropped the pull weight down a good bit. I don't have a trigger scale. I added a heavier Apex trigger return spring to bring the weight up. I was getting double taps with the lighter weight. I'm more used to a 5.5-6 lbs pull.

Because of "Brass-to-Face" ejections I replaced my M&P 9c extractor with the APEX FRE (Failure Resistant Extractor). This gave very little improvement and I thought I would have to live with hot shells hitting my face and going down my shirt. My next move was to replace my sear with the APEX sear to make the trigger a little smoother. The results were far more than expected: the ejections went to my right and the trigger was much smoother. Now my pistol is perfect.
