I had a question on a new 686 and did the introduction/question together. I didn't find this forum until later so sorry about the misplaced introduction. I have two S&W's. A recently aquired 686 and a 1911. Out the box the 686 shoots well although I've had the 1911 for several years and have enjoyed it thoroughly. Until the 686 I only owned semiauto pistols. I also own several AR's/AK's and a 303 Enfield. Louisiana is a "shall issue" CCP state so I carry. Glad I found you guys. Lots of good information here.

No need to apologize just ask anything you want within reason or decency and somewill try to answer. My former mother in law is from Louisiana and she was told by her dad to "never go to New Orleans". Anyway welcome and you got a couple of good Smiths. I in fact like most firearms and/ or find something neat or interesting about most. I do like Smiths though.
