Here, we've had all these threads discussing rifles and handguns, and the appropriate loads for bears.

It seems from the attached headline that the Interior Department has hit upon a different method.

I guess you just throw the donuts and bacon at the bear and watch it die from clogged arteries.

I'm pretty sure that's how the stuff will kill me eventually

Old bakery goods have always made good bear bait. Where legal cheap bacon and honey burned in an old tin can for several hours will draw bears in from a long ways over the next couple of days.
