AR 15's

EBR Disease

EBR disease is a horrendous yet wonderfully compelling disorder. I've talked with several who, like me, are afflicted, and all state the same thing - a crack addiction would be cheaper and probably easier on the personal relationships. My advise is to just say no. Walk away. Don't give in to the temptation.

But if you do, go find yourself a Rock River, DPMS, S&W, or Stag lower, then build it the way you want it. A little more expensive in the long run, but you spread out the cost and wind up with something you want, instead of spending twice the amount and having a box of parts that you took off your rifle to replace with all the goodies!

Seriously, just say no.

(you know where I can get that new Magpul back up iron sight? It's not for me, it's for a friend. No, really.)

You know.. I still haven't gotten around to getting myself an M4-gery. While I've shot plenty of ARs belonging to friends, they're not as fun as the real thing for me... and since I'd be getting it for fun... it'd defeat the purpose.

This is just my opinion. I am in no way bashing them because if I come across one for the right price... yeah I'll buy it.

Here's my Southern Indiana 'yote Smoker. It's a DPMS lower and everything else is put together pieces & parts from different mfg's.
The OP might consider a good complete lower and a coupla' different uppers for a money saving way to have long-range and tact-a-cool AR-15's.
