AR smooth action.

After 7000 plus rounds my bolt slides so dog gone smoothly through my upper its ridiculous.
Is that about how many rounds it takes to truly break in a rifle?

You are getting close, a few more thousand rounds and you will get it broken in!

I post on another forum where some of the so called experts insist that you have to hand cycle an AR 1000 times before ever putting a round down range. According to that philosophy, you have a long way to go.

If they don't function after a proper cleaning and lube fresh from the box, I'm calling customer service up for a call tag.

I'll tell you what, properly and smoothly are 2 difference things. My shooting buddy owns a gun shop in town. When I go I have my hands on all the different AR15 style rifles there and let me tell you, straight out the box they all feel course. My feels like,,, almost like a sling shot.
