AR-Stoner magazines

Anyone using the AR-Stoner stainless steel magazines in their AR15 Sport carbine? How do they compare to the Magpul polymer magazines?

I've used the regular Stoner mags, but not the stainless. No issues with them.

What is the difference between a GEN2 and a GEN3 Magpul magazine? Also, are the Pro-Mag steel magazines reliable?

I think sight window, dust cover. One series of P mags the dust cover can be placed at the bottom of the P mag, older series you can't. I've grown to dislike Magpul over the years.....they are like Apple in that you have to buy all their accessories to make everything work. I use their P mags but nothing else.

I have two regular Stoner 10 round mags. Never had a problem!

I dumped my steel mags, went with Magpul from day one and never looked back. Zero regrets.
