AR Type firearms! NRA is a must join NOW!

Hello, This is my thoughts! I know most of us here are members of the NRA and please no need to post that your a member.. Please for you who are not members.. NOW is the time.. NRA must be strong and they will be the largest organization that will stand up for are rights.. I don't think we have a chance if we all don't join.. I know there are gun shown on TV that will pay half of the membership fee, $10 bucks..Please post the link if you know it to help people that can't afford it otherwise.. So for about the cost of a box of ammo you could make the NRA stronger for us all.. Just get the minimum 1 year membership if that's all you can do.. I know they call and bug you for donations but I think Us gun owners need numbers for the NRA even more then they need $$$$ so just the membership will help immensely.. No I'm not working with them.. Heck I'm doing this because I was not a member but with the bans soon to come we all will need all the help we can get.. My reason for not being a NRA member for a few recent years is personnel. I was a faithful member for many years and will be again.. My dad had a lifetime membership.. Again please I am not looking for NRA members to post unless you can add good points to this post that I have missed, I'm sure not a writer.. I think this will be read more completely if the number of replies are low limiting to people who need help to decide on a membership or saying I just joined and to the people that can help will helping with the whys of joining the NRA now. Maybe you could post some good reasons why now is so important.. I'm be the first! My name is George I was not a NRA member and I admit it.. Am now! Agreed. My wife came to me after the election in November and asked how to join the NRA. I pointed her to their website and she took it from there on her own. My daughter has since done the same thing. Obviously the NRA needs the dollars but they also need the numbers too!!

Don't forget to join your State's firearms association. They'll keep you plugged into local issues.

Also there are other worthwhile organizations. The 2nd Amendment Foundation is one.

In "About Me" section under Organizations & Associations click the little brass casing to the right of "National Rifle Association" and change the value to "Member" and save.

Geo, I think your expectations are unreal. Look at the Katrina Gun Grab court results. Thousands of citizens disarmed and firearms destroyed by numerous government agencies. It remains legally unresolved.

The main and overwhelming reason(s) to join the NRA are political, and we are forbidden to discuss politics here. Just know that there are two forces that work against each other here in the U.S. on the "gun control" issue. One side, a whole lot of politicians and many others, is driven by emotion, and the other, the NRA, is driven by solid facts and logic.

It's time to choose. If you do not choose the NRA, then you are in fact actively working for the other side. Your guns and your freedom are at stake. Now. Do it now. Get involved, or before 2013 is through, it will be all over. Don't be a sideliner. Join the team; your help is desperately needed.
