Hey everyone! I'm set to go on my first deer hunt this weekend and all my gear is ready and my buddy will be helping out. Just today I went to sight in my rifle, a 7.62x39 AR15 with 16" barrel, and sighted in about an inch low at 25 yards (indoor range). Range officer said that would probably be fine for targets less than 100 yards away, but, after looking at zero charts, I can't find a single zero range with an impact 1" low at 25 yards. What would my drop/rise look like at 100 yards with this zero? I might just be nervous since it's my first hunt, but I don't want a bad zero causing me to lose a deer. Also, I zeroed with 122 grain FMJ rated at ~2,330 FPS, my hunting load is a 154 grain JSP at ~2,051 FPS. Would all this be ok for <100 yard hunts? Thanks!!

I wouldn't even venture a guess. Personally, I would not consider hunting with a load so dissimilar, and that only shot at 25 yards. You have no earthly idea where that load will shoot, and anyone who claims they can tell you is blowing smoke.
