AR15, -, Trigger Improvement? Is There A Low Cost Solution?

I ordered a set of 4 lb hammer and trigger springs from Joe Bob's, cut the spur off the back of the hammer and have been very please. No light strikes at all.

I did have a DPMS years ago that had a bad ridge/bead on the edge of the sear. I carefully filed it smooth by hand and that improved it greatly.

Keep away from Simple Green for any aluminum alloy . It will attack the anodizing & pit the metal itself . Know a local guy who put a SIG P226 & a Marvel 22 conversion in an Ultrasonic cleaner with Simple Green . Stripped the finish off etc. Weren't pretty .

Simple. Go to internet, search Rise Armament.
basic trigger. Shoot. Enjoy!

Rise does offer several, with not much price difference,,

This might be a place where I could be "penny wise, and pound foolish" ?

I wish I could figure out where the Rise Patriot fell in the lineup of Rise triggers,,
My local LGS has the Patriot , and it is a pretty good price,,

ONE QUESTION ~ ! Do I want a curved, or flat trigger?

Do you want a curved trigger? Answer that question with a few other ones. Are you French? Do wish you were more French? Are your fingers square?

If you answered yes to any of those three, you want a flat trigger.

The Partriot is basically the same trigger as the RA-140, except the color and flat trigger from what I see. To me, a good price on a RA-140 is sub $100.
