Hi all,
I'm very new to revolvers here, and I recently picked up the new Classic Model 10-14 for a decent price at my local gun shop. I really like the size, weight, and proportions of the gun, plus the fact that it's a new blued S&W revolver!
The thing is, it comes stock with the round-butt wood grips. I prefer the square-butt wood grips. Product: K/L Square Dymondwood Checkered Service
But, I have read that the revolver frame must be correct to properly fit the square-butt grips. Is this so? I don't know yet what the frame looks like as the gun is still in the shop as part of the 10-day BS waiting period that they put us through in CA.
Any help would be appreciated.
