I got these grips on a Model 19 that I bought about 20 years ago. They were from a former State Highway Patrolman and included the extra pair which has a hole in the front to reach the strain screw.

Yes they look to be and very nices ones. Show the backside for confirmation but I'm sure they are. You've had those for twenty years? I'm assuming they aren't for a cut frame. Those are quite sought after and pricey.

Thanks for getting back to me, Vtgw938. I will get some backside pictures up tomorrow. How pricey? I thought I saw somewhere that a set sold for about $700. Is that reasonable?

Yes from me also, in what I classify as the second generation style from John Hurst. Hurst often wrote the name of the customer - and sometimes his own name - inside with a colored pencil.

The concave bottom profile is unusual.

edit: $700 for the pair would be at the high side of current pricing.
Sellers ask $400-500, but I've seen only two (really nice) grips from Farrant sell for just over $400. My last two Farrants were less than $150 from an online auction.

Here are a couple of pictures. The picture with the screw is the pair that have the hole for the strain screw, and have a little extra sanding on the inside, maybe where a name might have been.
