Are you a "gun slut"?

Says those who are no were near 70 let alone 80. At about 55-60 like and old car, the tire are worn out the headlights are dim, the motor might still be strong, but the transmission is starting to slip, small but vital part start to break, fall off, need replacing. You might even need a battery tender permanently attached to keep the fluid pump pumping. Everything is old tired and creaks.
And it ain't going to get better!

You forgot to mention the exhaust system....

I can report that 70 certainly ain't like 60.

At 60 I was till pretty tough, but that has been a long time ago and I may not remember perfectly.

I think the word that you use in your thread title is unfortunate. Not "gun." The other word.

Couldn't someone aspire to high proficiency on any/many platforms? I used to shoot with a fellow whose goal was to be able to pick up any gun and shoot it well enough to handle a situation. Like a battlefield pickup.

Guilty as charged. I like them all long,short and pocket size. Big and tiny, rife, pistol or shotgun. Guns are a lot of fun and all have different purposes, I try them out and keep what i like. best, for a specific purpose. Fortunatly, I have a wife who lets me enjoy my passions guns and cars. Guns I am promiscuous. Cars I used to be till I fell in love back in 99 still have it. Kids can fight over it when we are gone.
The nice thing about those passions are they are alot cheaper and take less a toll on your health then being a womanizer. I got the best wife,I could have hoped for, most likely better then I deserved. Met her in 70 married her in 73 been together thru thick and thin ever since. . Best part is, she lets me window shop and appreciate gods beutiful works of art, guns, cars, motorcycles etc.etc.
