I have sold four guns in the past several weeks. I have lost a lot of interest in stockpiling them, more accessories and ammo are my interests.

At the moment I have more than I can shoot so, yeah, content.
I haven't needed or strongly lusted after a firearm in a long, long time. So yes, I am content with my collection, (that doesn't mean that I am past adding to it) the hobby is still fun to me. More importantly, by far, is I am content with most every other aspect of my life. If I go belly-up, tomorrow, I couldn't complain about anything; I have had a damn good run. I wonder how many billionaires feel that way?
I am not big into poetry, (at all) but there is the part of one poem that kind of sums up my feelings on general contentment.
From Thanatosis, by William Cullen Bryant:
So live, that when thy summons comes to join
The innumerable caravan, that moves
To that mysterious realm, where each shall take
His chamber in the silent halls of death,
Thou go not, like the quarry-slave at night,

I NEED a rolling block in .32-20. I NEED more .32-20 revolvers. I NEED more .44 Special and .45 Colt revolvers. I NEED more CW era muzzleloaders. I NEED etc., etc., etc...............................

Pretty content for my age but looking for 3-4 more S&Ws and that will be it. Reduced to K and L frames 2” - 3”.

I would like a nice double rifle and a 1928 Thompson.
Exactly the same here...........I like "add-ons" now such as suppressors-night vision both digital and Thermal .............I'll add one or 3 still out there I still want iffen I run across them.
Re Thompson..........I'd like it to have a horizontal forearm........Finned BBL with Cutts Compensator,,,,,,,,,,,AKA the one Vick Morrow used on the show COMBAT.
Then why go?............I usually spend LESS when I have wad of $$$$ in my pocket......CUZ I have most of what want therefore I am "picky".
That's sad Rusty............MEBBE when ya get better ya can fill it up again.
Nothing sad about it at all as they are going to family members who will appreciate them.

Forgot, want a Swed K subgun, best 9mm sub gun there is but will have to settle for S&W one instead.

As Howlin Wolf once put it: "I've had things that kings & queens never had - & don't even know anything about" - For which I am very grateful. As an 78 year old retiree, my acquirement opportunities are severely limited. I know what I like - fortunately acted when I was young, & the getting was good. My firearm choices were & are still adequate for my needs. There are still specimens I always admired - & would like. Glad to say, not being able to have them - is NOT making me unhappy. Here are a couple for instances - that would make ME even Happier.
