Are you keeping any un-fired guns - show me?

I only have one unfired NIB Smith at the moment-a 1998 Model 41 that's a duplicate of the one that I use.I just like having it that way.
I don't see the point of keeping stainless guns unfired, especially later models.

I have the following sitting in the closet; I'm hiding it from myself so I won't be tempted to go shooting it. It's a 1985 5" 27-3 50th Anniversary of the 357 Mag model, with case. I bought it a month or so ago off GB and when I saw it was unfired (besides the 3 proof rounds S&W puts through them) I decided to keep it that way.

This is my only safe queen. I bought it unfired and figured I may as well keep it that way. I'm not big on commemoratives but I do like this one.

I've got a tuned 4" 629 so I just shoot that instead.

Not big on safe queens. I have this unfired 19-3. Only reason it's Unfired is i have 4 other 19's that are shooters.

Also have this 41 with the Extendable front sight with box. Just haven't shot it because I had a second one I shot and sold it to a friend.

Though I have several recently acquired guns that I haven't been able to find time to shoot...I only have one that I plan to not shoot.

It's a 1985 66-2 2.5" lnib.

I was looking for a 66 snubbie to serve as a carry gun when I found this one.

Of course, as soon as I saw it, I knew my search for a carry specimen would continue.

Oh man! This would be embarrassing. It would be sort of like coming out

Jeez.

I'll think about it.

It is a good thing I fired the model 16. How man tines did I type, "It will be a shooter" or, "I am going to the range with it tomorrow"

I've just go to!!!

I now own and have owned several really nice firearms, but no matter how nice, rare, or condition, if I own it, I'm gonna shoot it!!! The way I see it, at some point in time somebody is gonna do it, so it might as well be me!!! These guns were made to fire and I've never been able to see the point of denying myself that pleasure!! (just my own way of thinking)

What the heck....unfired pistols...that's sacrilege. Kind of like collecting hammers, a tool is no good till you use it. Just my .02

It's sound reasoning, Bob. However, the human psyche is a fickle beast.

My wife bought me three very special guns. This one and my Pythons will not be fired by me.

The rest ...well load 'em up!

Have a NIB Mod 40 no dash Centennial... just cant bring myself to fire it when I've acquired a few other previously loved S&Ws that haven't made it to the range yet. OOTD I'll run out of untried toys, then....

I just have one - a 686-4 PowerPort shown in these photos from its online auction.

I bought it because it was supposed to be in mint condition and PowerPorts were out of production but the S&W gunsmith to whom I have my Internet purchases shipped declared it unfired. In fact, he is convinced that it somehow escaped being factory test-fired. I don't know how you would get the rough, porous surfaces inside the port completely dirt-free again so I'm leaving it just that way.

Have a 60 no dash nib 2 inch 79 model and a 60 3 inch 84 model. Neither fired but one day I will. Doing me no good in the safe. I shoot everything I have.
