arguing with my wife......

Everyone has their own opinion in such matters so without taking sides let me point out that I keep a fully loaded 3 inch M686+ on my nightstand and I wouldn't dream of putting it in a holster. ;)

Side note:

4 decades ago I met a very old man who was mourning the passing of the love of his life after 61 years of marriage. He told me his secret:

"Don't say anything."

:D

That didn't work for me but now I live with dogs and no humans and life is good. :)

My wife knows the rules in the house. Any pistol she finds that's not in the gun safe is loaded and only requires that the trigger to be pulled. They are all in the same condition. My daughter has a "hammerless" revolver. She wanted a pistol with a safety. My wife said that's stupid, how are you going to know if it's off in the middle of the night. And she's not a shooter at all. Daughter got a Hellcat for Christmas, partially because I wanted to shoot one. My wife's is a Sig P365. Mine are ..... too many to name. And no, I don't leave a 1911 laying around. I'm pretty specific about the "house" guns. Simple to operate. Then again I don't have little kids.

your fault for allowing her to carry a gun without a thumb safety. as for how to convince her, show her videos and photos of glock leg and glock crotch and let her know the glock safe action system is a scam, and that glocks DO require a manual safety, and that manual safety is the holster

I guess I'm fortunate . My wife was raised in a household where the man is in charge . Very old school . That doesn't mean she can't be stubborn and stand her ground when she thinks she's right , but in the end I'm the head of the household . As long as I'm fair and considerate of her position and feelings , we avoid most battles .
