Yours looks like a "Safe Queen" compared to a few I own !

I often wonder the story each would tell if they could just talk !

Jerry

Speaking of stories that guns could tell if they could talk, I have a theory.

M&P's abound, and I am sure that many of them had adventures; but somehow I think many of them were carried almost as a badge of office, by LEOS who never seriously considered that they would have to draw them in the line of duty. An HD, however, particularly one that obviously saw quite a bit of use such as mine, was more likely to have been carried by someone who felt rather strongly that at some point in his career he was going to have to use it.

What do you think?

Dan M:

I do not think your Outdoorsman is in my files.

It is a beautiful gun !

If you are willing I would very much appreciate its serial number (offline).

Best Regards,

Jerry

Here's another one (I hope). SN 620XX, 1940. A late one with Hump Back Hammer (HBH).

Gerry, I see your email address above. If you'd like more details from factory letter, I'd be happy to send that info to you.

BEAUTIFUL !

Thank you for the offer of information.

I am VERY interested in hearing the details about your Outdoorsman. The very late pre-war versions with the humpback hammer are especially interesting !

I am aware of only three Outdoorsman in that late serial number range ! I have one myself.
