Ill be reminding Lisa, to post images when she has time to think about it? of the two kittens im hoping to have by years end. The first one should be in about 17 days-which looks like??? and the other is snow white and should be before years end. Im looking forward to having both-and both are females.:D

Im sure Shasta ll approve of the both of them.

BTW--the names contest is still going on-but--I want both names female-and both starting with an ess- (S) and im thinking Susie for at least one of them. Reason being is--Susie here and i lost my friend Susie Campos recently-due to a blood cancer.:o:o

Sabrina is she shows witchy proclivities. If she's the athletic type, Serena.

I would consider that name but I just lost that woman too recently and still think of her every day. Just last night while speaking with my neighbor as a matter of fact. :o:o Otherwise-I would. Shasta is out because of losing her too. Speaking of which, HAD the vets properly instructed my on how to handle Shatsa's diabetic meds--id have Shasta with me now.:mad: I had no knowledge on how to properly handle diabetic meds-and the vets knew that, never told me how to properly use it-I was shaking her bottle not knowing I was messing up the meds-and did this for two months not knowing I was not doing her any good at all. The pain I caused my cat in the process is something ill never forgive myself for (let alone those two vets for) but, I know Shasta has forgiven me.

I know it sounds crazy for non-cat people-but for cat people-it does not sound crazy to say so. I'm also thinking of having some of Shasta's hair tested to see if these vets-had her put down (w/o my permission) and ill be possibly thinking of pursuing a lawsuit against these two vets for doing so if her hair samples test positive? for any euthanizing drugs I did not authorize to begin with. On the Saturday before Shasta "passed away" I was encouraged with news that she was doing better when staff came in and her sugar levels were normal-and she was on her feet eating and drinking and such. What made my blood boil-is the neglect they did to her ( and I fully understand that Shasta is not their only patient but??) they did have several techs on duty who were not busy doing anything except playing on their phones instead of watching over dogs and cats that were in need who were in cages.

When I visited Shasta early that Saturday-the dog in the cage just under where Shasta was --was near death-has feces covering it-and my blood was boiling at the sight of that-and the non-chalant (sp?) attitude of the on duty staff there at the time. I later learned that dog passed away which made me very sad and I did have tears in my eyes felling sorry for whom ever its owners were-who were expecting top-notch care for their dog-who did not get it. I'm now wondering who else do not get the treatment for their loved for-legged family members they are paying for? which is why I'm going to seek out the advice from another vet who is located a couple miles down the same street whom I'm learning has a good reputation. I'm also going to see if there is some agency of some kind? that I can register my concerns with? about what I'm now learning about the vets who I had formerly trusted the care I put for Shasta's life in-as well as other people who put their pals lives in. Sorry in my thoughts are a bit disjointed? I'm running out of time before I have to get ready to go to work.

How about the "S" word for one and "Shinola" for the other? ;)

That brought up something my dad used to say-which had a nasty connotation with it and I aint saying what it s for fear of being dinged. :D

The winner will also get one of those grill sets. ;-)) The chooser of the winner will not be me and it the winner will be after I get custody of the kitten from Lisa when she gets back from her cruise to Mexico.

As a proud member of the Confederacy, "shebangs" comes to mind. ;)

I thought of something from the old South but, am leaving it up to you all.

BTW, someone mentioned a cat names suggestion site?

I have one we call Squiggs. Short for Squiggy. As a kitten she would announce her entrance into a room just like Squiggy on Laverne and Shirley. That'll test your memory!
Somehow all of my cats thru the years were given names, but that's not what they ended up being called. They tend to earn their own name as they develop......

Heh heh, I'm still waiting for Lisa to find time to post images of both of the furry creatures. One is about 3 months-the other is around two weeks. The snowball-is the youngest.

BTW--found out the oldest is somewhat tiger-striped above-white feet and white face--I think?
