Next Wednesday, the 13th of September, I'm having surgery on a ruptured disc. Have to spend the night and then I'll be discharged on the 14th.

I've been limping around since last November. This ain't no way to spend retirement.

No, I was a LOT gimpy in Charlotte. I loved the fact that the gun room was off to itself. By the same token, I wasn't happy about it being so far from the elevator.

But even with a bad back, I had a great time.
