Assault weapons ban portion of senate bill has been dropped. Good news, but our fight for freedom must continue. Sonora

If Diane was really concerned about this apparent setback I'd have heard her screams from here. Rest assured they've symbolically chopped off the dead limb to save the body. They have their agenda well planned. While I'm very concerned about our second amendment rights, viewing the bigger picture I'd say the nuts are in charge of he asylum. And 60%of the country is taking the happy pills they're doling out.

Maybe now the AR-15 hoarding craziness will stop and same for .223/5.56 ammo, but they may still be scalping mags though if they can get that through. Not much else left for them to go after.

You know when all this dies down I predict a lot of grumpy folk at gunshows who blew lots of money buying into the panics. Could become quite a spectator sport.

I would love to see it. Excessive hoarding, price gouging.... serves them right to eat losses on an epic scale. I really can't stand people who do that .... buy something for $7.99 (.223 Ammo, Remington) and try to sell it for $18.99. It's absolutely disgusting and I pity the people who are dumb enough to buy it.

Just Remember.......

.....you still can eat an elephant, as long as you do it a bite at a time. Let's hope our bird dogs keep a sharp nose to the ground and watch for amendments or adds to the bills that silently, slithery and surreptitiously slide out of the Shining City on the Hill!
