There was an interesting article in my local paper today. This is not political, just what the article said.
It said one of our state reps, Markey, would vote against the AWB if it came up. The article also stated that 65 Dems would not vote for it, one of them citing the fact that it did nothing to curb crime.
The article went on to say, that with that many voting against it, it would have little chance to pass.
I know politics are not liked here, but I thought this was important. If for some reason I did break the rules, please either let me know and I can delete this post, or please delete it yourself. Thank you.

We have a political section now. It's OK to talk about this kind of stuff. I believe there are several threads over there addressing this subject at this time.

...when a law sunsets or is repealed...it is usually hard to get support for it the second time around...and the Dems may have learned a lesson when they lost the house after it was passed the first time...
