Oldman45: In Texas the speed limit on I-10 from about 30 miles east of El Paso to just before reaching San Antonio is actually 80, not 75. I set my cruise control on 80, and not too many cars pass me. (how old is old? I'm 78). I hear they're going to raise it to 85, incidentally, although this hasn't happened yet. I travel this road a few times each year as there are good gun shows in San Antonio and Houston.
At least 9 dead in Detroit area since Friday, all traffic related.
