I'm paying bills today and writing lots of checks.

I wrote two that were not for bills. One is for the USO. We still have troops on the line. Remember them.

The other is for the NRA Political Victory Fund.
You don't need to relate your opinion of the NRA here.
Perfect or not, they fight the fight.

We are at a crossroads in history.
Choose your path wisely.

We still won't be doing political discussion/ranting/crying here.

I am simply suggesting you make a choice to get in the fight, and find a means of your choice to:
put your money where your mouth is. ;)

If you have to choose between donating to this forum or getting into the fight, get into the fight!

May our forebears forgive us, and God help us all.

I'm counting on GOD!!!!!!!

I WILL NOT ask forgivness from previous generations.
I believe a lot of our present day situation is a DIRECT result of
or "4bears" actions & inactions!!!!!!

One thing that comes to mind is that "I" would NOT have wanted to have
been involved or alive @ the time of the " WAR of Northern Agression " ( as I've heard it described ). Don't get me wrong here, I'll not hesitate to stay true to the oath I took in 1970!!! ( I was lucky #30 in the lottery Nov. 1969 )

Good on you Mr. Jarrett!!!!!!!!! ( USO & NRA checks ), but, not only for your monetary support, but, you SIR are a Patriot & God knows the USA will
probably need LOTS of men like you some day. I hope not soon,(for my grandsons & other young children ),but come what may, I will do my best to live up to " THE OATH " I took in 1970.

Sorry for the rambles my Brothers & Sisters!!!!!!
My sciatic nerve has been bothering me for a couple of weeks & I"ve been feeling sorry for myself & decided to yell @ Yall.

God Bless Us All!!!!!!!!!!!

My donation to the USO went out an hour ago. They have a neat promotion wherein if you give above a certain amount they'll send you a nice-looking 33" X 60" American Flag. I get one every time, and give them out to those who don't have one, those who will fly it and take care of it. I don't need any more of them, I have plenty. :-)

I usually give a little extra to the NRA every year to help with the fight. My wife and I have been blessed so we also gave a pretty sizeable donation to the Wounded Warrior Project this year.

I am an NRA member. When I order parts and supplies from Midway, I always do the NRA round-up. It's not a lot but I think every little bit helps.

There are two things every American patriot must do:

1) Support organizations that work to preserve our freedoms (like the NRA.)

2) Vote for candidates who will work to preserve our freedoms.

Have you noticed how many millions Larry Potterfield has donated to the NRA with his roundup program? WOW!

"May our forebears forgive us, and God help us all."

One great big Amen to that!!!!

I am "ALL IN" !! …..this year, especially, we ALL need to join and/or contributed to the NRA.

the future depends on us. Make it happen NOW!!

Lee; I agree with you completely. My check to NRA went out on the first. I will post a check to USO tomorrow. Things have been a little tight here last few months so now that things are looking up I can give some more. Many Thanks for the Forum. Dick, Endowment NRA .

Proud to be a supporter of the NRA and always will be.
We all need to help this organization on a regular basis.
Great advise to help the USO also. Lets not forget those
who fight everyday to give us our freedoms.

Chuck

For quite a while I sent off a monthly check to NRA-ILA, but right now I'm sending all I can spare to my presidential candidate of choice.

First things first.

btt

I didn't rescue a sound but finish challenged pre-10 today. It was factory nickel, but flaking, worn, a little rust, but a very shootable revolver. I could have gotten it for $200 OTD.

Nope, I told myself. It is time to renew my donation to the forum, and I need to send a check to ILA. I am going to buy my daughter an NRA membership while I'm at it. I already have too many ratty old shooter-grade S&Ws.

Lee, sorry to inform you.:D I was going to upgrade from Silver to Gold this time, but I goes I'll stick with the Silver and send the difference to ILA and sign up my daughter. I am a big believer in strength in numbers.

Don't be sorry.
Thanks for all you do. ;)

Every gun owner has those around him - family, friends, neighbors, and co-workers - that he can influence to go out and vote the right way. RIGHT NOW is the time to do that. That can be just as effective as sending contributions to campaigns. Do both if you can afford to do so.

The founding fathers risked their lives & fortunes for this country and their vision; the least we can do is help fund the NRA & your presidential candidate of choice.

Just renewed my membership with the NRA for three years and have been a member since I was a kid. If you like your right to gun ownership you can thank them by joining the cause, no excuses!
