As predicted, the SEC is eating their own. Top to bottom the best conference in the nation. Loved the upsets especially when Auburn beat the Aggies.

I'm not an OU Sooner fan but my daughter and her boyfriend are and before the season started she paid $600 for tickets to the OU/Alabama game. Well, neither of them wanted to go because they knew OU would get thrashed and she tried selling the tickets at penny's on the dollar but there were no takers. So they went to the game last night and I haven't talked to her yet but I'm sure they are happy campers this morning!

My wife tells me that tickets for the UT-TAMU game at TAMU next weekend are now selling for $1000 to $6000. She has lots of friends with season tickets.

Bama looked like Vandy of old in that game.

I think it's safe to say Kalen DeBoer has found out the SEC ain't the Pac 12.............. :D

I got a feeling he ain't gonna last long.

Time will tell, obviously.

I remember well when Bryant retired at Bama. They went through a boat load of coaches before they arrived at Saban.

One coach never got past spring practice due to a strip club incident. :D

What most Bama fans do is forget all the coaches after Bryant & before Saban, with the exception of Gene Stallings. Their whining will be epic now that Saban is on Game Day.

All schools have had this sort of thing at some point. Auburn hasn't done well with coaches since Pat Dye. TN stunk since Fulmer retired but Heupel has them back on track. FL had Urban Meyer after Spurrior, but not much since then, have they? GA struggled for years after Dooley retired & before Smart got there. LSU has had a coaching carousel for decades. It happens.

Whatever happened to tie games? Maybe just one overtime and then call it quits. You get more, what you're probably seeing is who has the deepest bench.

Way back in the last century I watched (in a St Paul lounge) Minnesota host whoever was #1 the previous year. Stupendous game, not the blow out everyone expected. But.....in the 4th quarter, the #1s bench took over the game.

BTW, the locals were RABID fans. They were cheering every stop like it was the national championship win. Then, came the middle of the 4th quarter.
