Good day to all. Just thought I would share some pics of my" new to me " Australian marked Victory. I dont know much about it at this point other than the numbers match, it doesnt appear to have been used since FTR , and it has it's box, papers and ,cleaning rod. Your thoughts and opinions are always appreciated. If anyone has an idea of value please let me know . I paid what I think was a fair amount , but would like to have some assurance that I didnt get taken. Here are the pics...

There were 8,000 Victory Models shipped to the Australians by S&W, which should make them one of the scarcer variations to find, however it seems a large number were rebuilt/repaired by the Australian armories and then sold to importers who brought them back to the US market, so they show up in auctions, online and at gun shows fairly often. You have a complete set with the paperwork supplied by the importer. Prices vary, But $400 to $500 usually buys you one at an auction. Ed.

The "provenance" date to the importer so I am not too sure as to the added value. I am supposing there is an importer's mark and as you point out it been refurbished at Munitions Australia (Lithgow). My overall impressions are good and it would not surprise me if the numbers ran anywhere between $300-$400.

Thanks for the reply and the info. I paid just over $400 so I feel I did fairly well. There were 2 at the show i was at today offered by 2 different sellers. Both had the same asking price of $500. I chose this one as the box and papers were in much better shape.

I've noticed that the sideplate fit isn't real great on some, like this one. Maybe the armorers didn't always get the original plates back on the right guns.

It's been years since I saw Victory Models on a regular basis. How's the fit on these, usually, if you see many?
