Availability - Speer .38 Special +P 135 Grain Gold Dot

Is anyone aware of the availability of this round? Most places I have searched indicate that it is not in stock and/or not available for backorder.

I know that the greater emphasis is on the 9 m/m Parabellum cartridge, but some of us still carry a .38 Special, occasionally.

I have a small supply, picked up as I could. I will visit Scheel's the next time I'm in the neighborhood, and see what they have left, if anything. I have some Remington Golden Saber put by, soooo...unless TEOTWAWKI happens next week, I should be o.k. Thanx for the info!

Try here. I have never bought from them so be sure to check into the site before you buy. I saw this link on another forum. Again, I never bought from them so be sure you check the site for yourself. (I did my own check and they scored perfectly safe but always check for yourself)

It was plentiful pre-panicdemic, but I expect Speer has, like all the other manufacturers, been focusing in 5.56mm NATO and 9x19 production. As the 5.56 and 9mm markets get fully restocked and saturated, I expect other calibers to reenter the production line.

Have never bought ammo online, but May have to consider it. Haven't seen the Speer SB 135 38+p or 357 on shelves for a few years. See plenty of 124 9mm, 40 and 45 acp, however.
