NEWS FLASH! Our Cardinals beat the New England Patriots on their home turf, handing them their first defeat in a home opener in 10 years. Backup QB Kevin Kolb stepped up, as did the Cards defense! Take that, Mr. Brady! Final score:

The game had me on the edge of seat for the last few minutes, but discipline and perseverance beat legend and glitz!

Oh yes it is!!

It's nearly as funny as the look on a guy's face at the WASU/Rebels college game on Friday when he realised that WASU were going to win, but had failed to cover the betting spread put on by the Vegas bookies. I heard him yell, "Oh no, not the spread!" when UNLV scored in the 4th quarter. I looked around and his girl was laughing fit to bust, as were my buddy and I. His next scream at the WASU team was:

"Get up there and score, it's not about the game anymore!"
